About Dom Jontony, LPC
High performance isn’t just built in the gym or the boardroom — it’s built in the mind.
And when pressure rises, the mind is usually the first thing to break down.
Dominic Jontony understands this from both sides of the arena.
As a former collegiate wrestler at The Ohio State University, Dom lived inside the world of elite performance — the relentless training, the weight of expectation, the discipline, the wins, the injuries, the identity tied to results, and the quiet mental battles no one talks about. He knows what it feels like to carry pressure in your body, to perform when exhausted, and to wonder who you are when the season — or the title — ends.
Today, Dom helps high performers do what most never learn:
• Regulate their nervous system under pressure
• Break performance-limiting mental patterns
• Build emotional control without suppressing emotion
• Recover from trauma, burnout, and identity loss
• Perform at a high level without sacrificing their mental health, relationships, or longevity
Athletes, executives, entrepreneurs, and driven professionals work with Dom not because he gives surface – level motivation — but because he helps them rewire what actually controls performance: the brain, the body, and the internal narrative.
Dom is EMDR-certified, allowing him to work at a deeper, faster level with trauma, performance blocks, anxiety, grief, and nervous system overload. He is also a certified facilitator of Prepare & Enrich, supporting high-achieving couples who want to grow without drifting apart under pressure.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. More importantly, his work is grounded in real – world application — not theory alone.
Dom’s approach is direct, practical, deeply compassionate, and built for people who don’t want to talk in circles — they want real change.
If you’re ready to stop fighting your own mind and start leading yourself with clarity, control, and consistency — this is the work.
