My philosophy is to communicate the importance of taking care of your entire body (nutrition, sleep, hydration, school, stress, etc) so you can come to practice in your best condition. I believe all foods can fit into your life, but there are physiological reasons why some foods are more helpful around practice and other foods that won’t be as helpful – all given how they digest and fuel your body. In 1:1 appointments I help athletes understand their nutrition needs for their body type and practice load and help them game plan how to set up their nutrition for the week, given preferences, resources and time constraints.

With proper fueling, you can ask your body to go above and beyond its physical limits.  Nutrition improves muscle recovery, endurance & stamina, and mental focus, all of which are essential for successful sports performance.
